Ma Lihua, 24, smashed the previous record - which had stood for 19 years - by a whopping 20,000 bricks.

She lined up 303,628 dominoes.

They came tumbling down in just four minutes.

Cockroach

Ma's bid to break the record was nearly ruined by insects.

At one point during her preparations, a cockroach knocked over 10,000 tiles.

So strong-smelling leaves were then dotted around the Singapore hall Ma used for her attempt to try to put off the creatures.

Nightmares

Ma said the insects gave her nightmares, but she remained determined right to the end.

"There was a time when I was not feeling well, but I had a goal to achieve," she said.
