This means that five US troops have now been killed since Saddam Hussein's sons, Uday and Qusay, died during an attack by American forces on Tuesday.
'No doubt'
Two other soldiers were killed in a separate attack on Wednesday.
There are reports that the three soldiers killed in the latest attack were from the 101st Airborne Division - the same force which led the siege on the house in Mosul, Iraq, where Saddam's sons were shot.
The US military has said it's sure that two men were Saddam Hussein's sons.
It says there is "no doubt" that Uday and Qusay are dead after carrying out tests on the bodies.
The bodies match hospital and dental records for the two men.
Uday and Qusay Hussein were numbers two and three on America's 'most-wanted Iraqi's' list.
