Potter fans in Germany are so keen on reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that they're not waiting for the translation, they're doing it themselves.
The German language version isn't out in the shops until 8 November, so while they wait, fans of the book have started translating it.
Using a website around 8,000 Potter-heads are working on converting it, each taking a small chunk of the English version and turning it into their own language.
Only when someone has translated some pages are they allowed to read the sections that other people have worked on.
The publishing house who will sell the German version, Carlsen, say they don't mind as long as only members of the community can read it.
The person running the site, Bernd Koeleman, said each section is being translated in lots of different ways, some strict, some not, and some into regional dialects.
