Updated 04 June 2003, 02.34
JK Rowling will speak to 4,000 kids at the Albert Hall
JK Rowling is going to speak about OOTP to 4,000 lucky kids at posh London venue the Royal Albert Hall - and the event will be shown live on the net.

Harry Potter fans in up to 34 countries will be able to share in the event thanks to the webcast on www.msn.co.uk/harrypotter

JK will read from OOTP and answer questions from her fans across the world at the event on 26 June.

OOTP comes out on June 21

It will be her only public appearance to talk about the book.

She'll also be interviewed on stage by actor and comedian Stephen Fry, who has narrated Harry's adventures on the radio.

Breaking records

OOTP, which comes out on 21 June, is already breaking records as the most pre-ordered book in history.

It's the fifth book in JK's Harry Potter series and fans have been waiting three years for it to hit the shops.

The first four novels have now sold almost 200 million copies in 55 languages and 200 countries.
