He explains how hard it is reporting from inside a war
Diary entry 13:
This afternoon we pulled alongside another ship, giant fenders in-between the ships to stop them hitting. It didn't work.
As we got closer and closer the bridge of the other ship crunched into the side of Ark Royal, messing up part of both ships.
Once they'd sorted that little mess out they started unloading the remaining ammunition and vehicles on board Ark Royal with giant cranes.
What stories are left?
It really feels as if the story has left Ark Royal. Its moment was when it put the marines ashore in southern Iraq.
Now it's just here in case it's needed. So it leaves us with a problem. What stories do we cover?
