Protestors near Petronas Towers in Malaysia
Millions of people have been staging anti-war protests all around the world.

Around ten million demonstrators in 600 countries have marched through cities and towns like Paris, New York and Rome.

There have been protests in Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Germany, USA, South Africa, Italy, Finland, France, Belgium, Portugal and Spain.

Children, families, students and old people have been taking to the streets across the globe.

In New Zealand, the environmental group Greenpeace flew a banner reading "No War, Peace Now".

Anti-war protesters in Turkey are asking everyone in the country to turn off all lights at the same time as a different way of showing their support.

Smaller rallies took place in Nepal, India, Cyprus, Syria, Egypt and Iraq.

And on the tiny South Pacific island nation of Fiji an anti-war group sent messages of flowers to embassies.
