  • Major religion: Islam, indigenous beliefs, Christianity
  • Fascinating Fact: It's one of the poorest and troubled countries in the world, but earns most of its money from diamond mining. In April 2002 the country sold a huge 110-carat diamond the size of a large pebble for several million dollars.
