The children had all won prizes at their school, and were on their way to a festival in Barcelona.
Sadly, they were on board a special flight because they missed the one they were meant to go on.
'Pilot error'
The aircraft and a Boeing 757 cargo plane collided mid-air above a town on the German-Swiss border.
Although the investigation is still going on, the Russian pilot is being blamed for not moving the plane out of the way quickly enough.
In total, 71 people are thought to have died - including the two pilots of the cargo plane.
