  Trick-or-treating as Bin Laden
Updated 31 October 2001, 09.16
A scary sight: Osama Bin Laden rubber masks
The face of the world's most wanted man, Osama Bin Laden, has been turned into a Halloween costume.

Bin Laden and his terrorist network is suspected to be behind the 11 September terrorist attacks on the US.

Rubber masks

While the US try to flush him out of Afghanistan where he is thought to be hiding, people all over the world are preparing for Halloween by dressing up as him.

Shops in Northern Ireland say many customers are asking for Bin Laden rubber masks as well as beards, turbans and robes.

Trick-or-treat

But some think dressing as Bin Laden and making a joke of him is bad taste after recent events.

In Canada some trick-or-treaters are preferring to dress as firemen and policemen. Jason, 14, explains, "I have one friend who's dressing as a fireman because of the incident on September 11, to honour them".
