The people in Afghanistan are being warned not to confuse cluster bombs with food aid packages.

Unexploded cluster bombs and food aid parcels are both yellow in colour.

So the Americans have been making radio broadcasts to advise Afghan civilians on how to tell the difference between them.

The broadcasts say that from now on, cluster bombs and food packages will not be dropped in the same area.

Cluster bombs often leave hundreds of unexploded small bombs littering the ground.
