Some albums nominated for the Mercury Music Prize 2004
The nominations for the Mercury Music Prize have been announced.

The prize honours the best album of the last year by a UK or Irish act, and is chosen from a wide range different types of music.

The winner will be announced on 7 September, but who do you think deserves it most?
