		Harry Potter is 'the ideal child'

Boy wizard Harry Potter is the ideal child, according to a survey.

Harry just beat Bart Simpson in a survey of 8,000 people who took part in the BBC Parenting Magazine survey, to find the perfect family members.

Marge Simpson and Gary Lineker came out as the nation's fave choice for mum and dad. Kerry McFadden was second placed mum, with JK Rowling in third.

Kerry was gracious. "I'm a big Simpsons fan, so I'm well aware of Marge's amazing skills," she said.

Sean Connery's the fave grandfather

Other top placed parents were Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, though kids Jack and Kelly were nowhere to be seen.

Ex-Bond actor Sean Connery was number one grandfather, and Judi Dench, who plays M in the current Bond films, was favourite grandmother.

The Royals did well too, with the Queen fourth fave grandma and Prince Philip sneaking in at 10 on the grandfather chart.
