A 15-year-old boy has died after he crashed his bike at a skateboard park at the weekend.
James Hadfield suffered serious head injuries when he fell off his bike at Picadilly Park, in Burnley, Lancashire, on Saturday.
James was taken to Burnley General Hospital where he died.
The police said that James had not been wearing a helmet, and that he hit his head when he came off his bike on the way up to a ramp.
A spokesman from the local council, which owns the skateboard park, said it would be investigating exactly what happened and how James died.
Roger Vincent, of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, told CBBC Newsround Online: "All children at skateparks, whether riding bikes, skateboarding, skating or riding scooters should wear helmets - even if they think it's uncool."
He also said it was safest to wear a helmet when cycling in the street.
