Pink spoke to Newsround Showbiz's Adam about being the most outspoken punk princess in pop.
What's your new song Trouble about?
Usually my songs are certain stories but this is a bunch of stories and it's really just about attitude.
You've changed your hair again. How important is your image to you?
I just get bored easily. As I'm sure other people do too.
Is image a big deal to you, to create a image for Pink?
No, because Pink and Alicia are the same person... like my music is autobiographical and honest and true to me. So is the way I dress and talk and think and feel and dye my hair.
On your website there's lots of links to political causes. How important is that to you?
I think that's really important because more people are paying attention to you and [so] more people will go to your website. And if they like you music they might like something you're into.
I'm very involved with PETA - People for Ethical Treatment of Animals - and Greenpeace and a lot of women's shelter and clothing giveaways.
You've said you want to be a real person and be very honest. Has that ever given you problems?
The only problems I've ever had with being honest is telling people how I feel about them or saying how I feel about other people.
I've learned I'm not lying by not saying anything, so I just don't say it anymore.
Keeping quiet must be tough for you because you've got a lot of opinions?
They know who they are.
What happened with Prince William?
He sent me an invite to his birthday party and I declined and told him why.
What was it to do with?
Fox hunting and er - wasn't actually foxes tho'...
[The letter referred to the story Prince William was alleged to have killed a small deer in Africa but he denied this.]
When he was in Africa?
Yes and I don't like it and I wanted to tell him so and I haven't got a response yet.
You've written quite a few letters. Was there one to a fashion magazine?
