Tell someone about bullying, children told
Updated 03 September 2003, 13.28
The scheme encourages kids to tell on bullies
A hard-hitting film called Tell Someone is the latest weapon the government are hoping will help them stop bullying.

Bullying is still a problem in schools, so millions have been spent on a scheme, including the film and also bringing in behaviour experts.

The government hope the ideas will help children find it easier to tell an adult or someone if they are being bullied.

The special film will be shown on TV and in cinemas, and gives details of a anti-bullying website set up by the government, as well as the number for Childline.

A big part of the plans involve primary schools, because it's thought that if kids learn how to behave well at an early age, then they're less likely to bully other kids later.

School inspectors will also have to keep an eye out for bullying when they go into schools, and will have to make sure anti-bullying practices are being used.
