Celebs can't wait for Potter book five either
Updated 17 June 2003, 08.14

It's not just kids all over the county who are excited about the next Potter book, the stars can't wait either!

Newsround checked out what loads of celebs thought about the release of the Order of the Phoenix, and most of them are already looking forward to it.

Scottish pop crooner Darius said: "I'm a big Harry potter fan, more because my little brother goes on and on and on about how wicked the books are.

Bedtime story

"I've read chapters to him when I've been on tour and called home as a bedtime story and I sometimes get nicknamed Hagrid as well because I'm quite tall.

"But I don't see the resemblance, do you?! I haven't ordered it yet but my brother has and I'll probably steal it from him!"

Kym Marsh said: "I love Harry Potter! I'm a really big fan and I've already ordered the new book from Amazon."

David Sneddon said: "I love Harry Potter! I've got all the books and I'll definitely be reading the next one!"

Blazin' fans

Blazin' Squad's Flava said: "I've read two - they're quite good."

While bandmate Tommy B said: "I read the first three, I'm not sure if I'll get the fifth but my brother will."

Busted boy Mattie said: "I read 1/2 the first one and then got bored. I used to have a girlfriend who read them all the time! She loved them - I won't be buying it though."

And Charlie Busted added: "I've read the first one but none of the others. I like the films though."

Dannii Minogue agrees: "The new Harry Potter book is coming out and my friends are going to drive me nuts by saying 'you haven't read the first ones yet!

"But I'm not really into reading Harry Potter, I think it's brilliant for what it is but I don't really think Harry Potter is my thing."

D-Side said: "When our last single was released Harry Potter was coming out and so we had to compete for window space.

We could have it in for Harry ever so slightly! None of this magic business, watch out Harry. We're coming to get you!"
