Chancellor Gordon Brown will tell MPs in parliament if he thinks joining the euro is a good idea at the moment.
Although no one knows exactly what he's going to say, it's thought that Mr Brown will say he wants the UK to join the euro, but not at the moment.
Even if the chancellor did think the tests had been passed, it doesn't mean we'd all be using euros instead of pounds tomorrow.
Before the pound can be ditched the people of the UK will have to vote that they want to start spending euros, in a referendum.
If they voted yes then it would take a long time for banks, shops and businesses to be ready to deal in euros instead of pounds.
