  Kids have everything!
Updated 28 May 2003, 16.41
Loads of kids have TVs in their room
Kids today are loads better off - with TVs, videos, CD players and mobile phones all to themselves.

A new report reckons that you lot really have it easy nowadays.

Most people between five and 16 years old have a TV in their room, and half have a video too, to watch their fave films and programmes.

Three out of four of you lot also have your own mobile and most of you have access to a computer at home.

Ten years ago hardly anyone had a computer at home.

'News savvy'

Kids are still reading as much as ever
But the Childwise survey also reckons that you know much more about what's going on in the world.

More kids are well up on the news and tuning into news programmes, but you're also watching far more telly than kids used to.

Children's BBC and Nickelodeon are your faves, says the report.

But even with all that telly-watching going on, you're still managing to spend as much time reading as kids did 10 years ago too.
