  Bling bling makes it into dictionary

Ali G: the king of bling?
Words like bling bling, gravy and phat have made it into the dictionary.

In fact, street slang's become so popular that there's more than 20 cool words in the latest edition of the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English.

The explanation of bling bling is:

"expensive objects of jewellery that are worn in a way that is very easy to notice"

Other words which made it in are:

gravy - good

phat - good, wicked

hangin' - chilling out with mates

salty - to make someone angry

whacked - out of control
