Her mum, Sarah, tricked Susie by pretending they were going on holiday to Mexico.

But when she arrived, Susie was put into a boot camp where she had to follow a code of silence and was even followed to the loo!

Boot camp rules:

• You must wear uniform
• You can't have any personal belongings
• You have to get up, walk to class and go to bed on a strict schedule
• You start with no privileges - you even have to "earn" salt and pepper to put on your food
• Punishments include exams, losing your privileges and isolation

Susie, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, said: "I hated it at first. I cried constantly."

But Susie said she was now a totally different, better person. She "graduated" from the boot camp and is now back home with her family.

Susie's experiences will be shown on BBC One on Wednesday 7 January at 7.30pm in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire regions.
