Police have gone into schools in Manchester to warn kids to stop carrying imitation guns in public places.
They're worried that kids don't realise they could be in danger if armed police are called into investigate.
The guns include ball bearing guns, air weapons and replicas - and at close range they can prove fatal if they hit someone in the eye or temple.
It causes panic
Police are particularly concerned about kids who have just bought the toy guns in a shop and get them out of the wrapper at a bus stop.
This can cause panic amongst other shoppers - who often don't know if the guns are real or not.
If these visits work, police might start going to more schools around the UK soon.
