Potter fans start fundraising for Book 5 clues
Updated 03 December 2002, 17.53
Potter fans
A Harry Potter site has started a unique fund-raising appeal - in an attempt to get enough money to buy a set of clues for the fifth book, The Order of the Phoenix.

As we told you in November, JK Rowling has written 93 words from the book on a card, which will be auctioned for charity on 12 December.

Whoever buys the card will have a first stab at finding out what happens in the long-awaited fifth Harry Potter book.

Now The Leaky Cauldron site has set up a non-profit-making company to raise enough money to buy the card.

If they succeed, they will publish the words for Potter fans to see around the world.

The Leaky Cauldron started taking donations from Potter fans on 3 December.

If they raise more than needed, they'll give the rest to the charity involved, Book Aid International.

We'll keep you posted on how they do!
