Stuff parents do:
- More than half have gone to a gig, like S Club, Blue or Gareth, to spend more time with you
- A third of mums and dads read your magazines to find out what you're into
- Some parents actually change their clothes and hair so you don't think they look geeky
- Almost half of mums have taken up a new hobby or sport to fit in with you
"The image of dad wearing a baseball cap back-to-front while clutching the latest Atomic Kitten CD might make some teenagers cringe," said a spokeswoman for Vauxhall cars, which carried out the survey.
"But it's reassuring to know that parents want to keep in touch with the fashions that mean so much to your children."
