The charity said children were seven times more likely to ring them within a month of suffering abuse than when ChildLine was set up.
That was 16 years ago when asking for help if you were being abused wasn't something that kids did.
The charity also reckon that more of you are phoning sooner because mobile phones are so popular, making it easier to find a private place to ring.
Back in 1986 only 7% of callers did so within a month after the abuse, now 49% are on the phone to ChildLine within four weeks.
