  Welsh kids get the most pocket money

Kids in southern England spend money on commuter games and gadgets
Spending on gadgets

If you live in Wales, you are likely to get more pocket money than kids living anywhere else in the UK.

They get a pocket-bulging £8.49 a week, says a new bank survey.

But unlucky seven to 16 year olds in the south east of England get a measly £4.92 a week.

And when it comes to saving, a quarter of Scottish and Midland kids use their piggy banks most to stash away their dosh.

But young people in the south of England are more likely to blow it all, with less than 10% saving it.

Of the southerners who do save, a quarter have their eye on computer games and consoles.

And if you're in the north west of England, you are more likely to buy designer clothes and trainers!

They also spend the most on music and films. But it's kids in the south who have a sweet tooth. Almost 60% spend their money on sweeties!
