And thousands have gathered around the Palace to watch the gig on big screens.

Younger Royals, including Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will join the crowds to watch the pop-tastic event.

Big guns

At 1.00pm, official Golden Jubilee celebrations and partying across the UK kicked off to a 41-gun salute and singing.

The Queen watched the guns in London's Hyde Park blast away via huge screens in Slough where she met revellers.

Then she started the whole country off singing The Beatles' old classic song All You Need Is Love.

To keep the beat, she set off a giant golden metronome which was presented by 13-year-old Amir Sarooq.

This was the signal for the country's many street parties to get going.

Earlier in the day, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh joined 16,000 people on the streets of Windsor to watch a parade.
