  Fire at Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace
Fire engines rushed to Buckingham Palace after a fire broke out forcing the building to be evacuated.

The fire started at 6.42pm on Sunday and continued for just over an hour until the Palace said it had gone out.

Smoke could be seen pouring from the Palace into the London sky, where people were getting ready for a big pop concert on Monday.

Fire engines were on the scene quickly
Lots of stars and people working on the concert were evacuated from the building.

A number of Lots fire engines rushed into the Palace to try and get the blaze under control.

Royal Family weren't there

The concert is to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years of being on the thrown.

None of the Royal Family were at the Palace when the fire broke out and there are no reports of anyone being hurt.
