  Boy in hospital after rollercoaster accident

It's thought the boy may have entered an area closed to the public
A boy has been airlifted to hospital after an accident involving a rollercoaster at a theme park in Staffordshire.

The boy was hit on the head by a car belonging to the Nemesis ride at Alton Towers.

Alton Towers is a famous theme park in Staffordshire

Cuts to head

He's been taken to the North Staffordshire Hospital, but is not thought to be seriously hurt.

It's thought the boy who's not been named, may have entered an area normally closed to the public.

He suffered some cuts to his head but otherwise is said to be OK.
