The Queen meets some Scouts on her 76th Jubilee birthday
The Queen celebrated her 76th Jubilee birthday by meeting lots of children.

She watched a parade of 550 Scouts who have been given the Queen's award for personal achievement.

Her special guests were the 60 Venture Scouts who carried out ceremonial duties at the Queen Mother's funeral.

The annual Scout's parade at Windsor Castle was the Queen's first weekend of public engagements since the official mourning ended for the Queen Mother.

But the Queen smiled a lot and looked relaxed.

Thousands of people came along to watch the parade, and everyone cheered when the Band of the Irish Guards played Happy Birthday to the Queen.

Thirteen-year-old Heather Bender, from London, and Tom Strickland, 11, from Nottinghamshire, presented the Queen with a bunch of flowers. They both received special Scout awards.
