Wills is to pick up the Geography course when he starts his second year in September, says the Sun.
The young prince talked the decision over with his dad, Prince Charles. But royal officials have not confirmed the reports yet.
Wills got interested in the environment when he took a year out to help villagers in Chile.
Meanwhile, his art-loving younger brother Prince Harry is reported to be thinking about following his brother up to St Andrews to do History of Art after he completes his A levels.
