Branston pickle crisps to tickle tastebuds
Updated 22 January 2002, 14.59
The new crisp flavour!
What is the strangest flavour of crisps you can imagine? Cola flavoured? Mint flavour?

Well, from the end of February you'll be able to offer your mates at playtime something different to salt and vinegar: Marmite and Branston pickle!

Happy birthday Marmite

Gary Lineker in crisp ad

Marmite is 100 years old this year and the brown pickle has been tops for British taste-buds for decades.

And to celebrate these faves, Walkers have launched pickle with cheese and Marmite flavoured crisps as part of their new Great British Flavours range.

And Gary Lineker will be up to his usual crisp-nabbing tricks again in the new ads.

But we want to know what your favourite flavour of crisp is! Vote now by going to the link to the right of the story
