The number of people sleeping rough on UK streets has fallen dramatically.
Figures from the Rough Sleepers Unit, run by the government, show fewer than 550 people are now sleeping on the streets.
That compares with nearly 2,000 in 1998.
There are many reasons people have nowhere to live like problems at home, abuse or unemployment.
Still a big problem
But despite the success of the unit, homeless charities such as Crisis say homelessness is still a big problem.
And the Children's Society says around 100,000 under 16s run away at some point, and many of them end up on the streets.
The Rough Sleepers Unit has been running a Safe Stop project designed especially to get young people off the streets in central London.
