  Pupils name dream teachers

How do you fancy Jamie Oliver cooking up your home economics homework, or Michael Owen sharpening up your shooting skills?


A new survey of 1,000 schoolchildren has shown two thirds of you think a celebrity teacher would make you learn better.

Hearing them sharing their experiences and having them as role models are apparently why they'd help you to be top of the class.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling scooped 60% of the votes for favourite English teacher in the poll by Microsoft Encarta.

Pop band Hear'Say wiped the board as the most wanted music teachers, and 73% said Carol Vorderman figured as their fave maths teacher.
