BMX and boarding experts have now started touring schools across Britain with a mission to make PE more exciting.
They set up a huge half-pipe in the school hall, provide boards, bikes and safety gear, and get children riding up and down the slopes.
According to one of the organisers, BMX champion Shawn Scarf, the idea arose when he realised he never wanted to do traditional school sports like football or rugby.
"I was never really that involved with them - but I wanted to ride my bike instead," he said.
So what do you think? Is this a good way of doing PE - or perhaps your school is doing something even better?
