Harry Potter helps fan get exams
Updated 06 October 2001, 13.17
Michele Fry with Harry Portter books
Michele Fry was already a huge Harry Potter fan

A Harry Potter fan has passed her degree with a magical study of the boy wizard.

Michele Fry wrote her final exam paper on whether Hermione is the real hero of the Harry Potter books.

Michele spent three months researching her project and thinks she has proved that Harry would be powerless without Hermione and her cunning ways.

Accessory

Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter

Teachers at Michele's college were so impressed with her Harry Potter paper that they passed her straight away.

Michele said: "Most critics argue Hermione is an accessory but I would say she is the real power behind Harry Potter.

"Without her he could not beat the evil villain, Voldemort."
