American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino has been making history with her debut single, I Believe.
The 19-year-old from North Carolina has just reached number one in the US single and radio play charts.
Her achievement marks the first time in US history that a debut single has topped the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Fantasia won the third series of American Idol in May, which attracted a record 65m phone votes. Kelly Clarkson and Ruben Studdard won previous series.
Fantasia is the first female to reach number one in the US this year and her track is the first charttopper by a solo female artist since Kelly held the spot in October 2002.
Her song was co-written by a fellow contestant on the first series of American Idol, Tamyra Gray.
