They include air steward Jason, who entered the house wearing only a pair of leopard-print pants, and law student Marco, with his high-pitched laugh.
Marco was first in, followed by the oldest housemate, a 44-year-old former asylum seeker called Ahmed.
Hairdresser Daniel opted for a more reserved look and wore a suit. Then psychology student Stuart joined them.
Stuart claims to be a super brain. His fave band are Busted.
The final male housemate was gap year student Victor, who says his nickname is Mr Slick.
Once all six lads had entered the house, they were joined by the first girl - heavy metal fan and student Vanessa, who admits to being a flirt.
Funky
Next up was legal administrator Emma. "It's funky, innit?" she said as she looked around the house.
Political activist Kitten arrived at the house in a sailor suit.
She started looking for people in the crowd instead of walking straight into the house.
Following Kitten was mortgage adviser Michelle, who strutted straight into the house without looking back, wearing a frilly pink dress.
History of art student Shell soon joined them. She plays the trombone and has hand-reared a flock of sheep.
Surprise
The final housemate to go in was bank clerk Nadia, who is bound to surprise the other contestants because she used to be a man!
