Coronation Street walked away with a TV Bafta, at a soggy, red-carpet ceremony in London on a wet Sunday night.
It beat Holby City, Casualty and The Bill to take the best continuing drama prize. EastEnders was not even nominated, in what was a new category.
There were no celebrations for Ant and Dec though, whose Saturday Night Takeaway and Pop Idol won nothing.
The night really belonged to Ricky Gervais, who won two Baftas for The Office, including best sitcom.
