Keisha Castle-Hughes has been talking about being the youngest ever person to get Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
"My Mum came running into my room saying 'Keisha, you've just been nominated!'" said the actress.
When she heard about her nomination it was the middle of the night for the 13-year-old New Zealander and it took a little while for the news to sink in.
She only realised it was no joke when she started taking calls congratulating her from film companies in the US.
"They were yelling down the phone at me... and I realised it was real."
'Fulfilling my dream'
Keisha was nominated for her role in a low budget film called Whale Rider where she played a girl called Paikea.
