It's also in the running for Best Movie Drama, where the competition includes sea-faring epic Master And Commander.
Johnny Depp could also walk away with an award - he's been nominated for Best Comedy Actor for his role in Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Many Golden Globe winners have gone on to achieve success at the Oscars.
