The special effects team behind the Lord of the Rings trilogy is set to work on the famous fantasy books, the Chronicles of Narnia.
Rumours on the web have linked New Zealand-based effects house WETA to the project, which is set to include all seven of CS Lewis' books.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the first book to be filmed, should be out in summer 2004.
The book was first published in 1950, and has been made into a BBC TV series.
