  Buffy ends in the US
Updated 21 May 2003, 17.13
What will happen to Buffy and Spike at the end?
It could be a teary night for Buffy fans in the US, because the last ever episode of the series is being shown there Tuesday night.

At 8pm (on the east coast of the US) fans will be settling down to find out how the seventh season of the series ends.

Viewers in this country will have to wait a while to see the episode, which will be on Sky later in the year and BBC2 a long time after that.

Willow has been Buffy's mate since the first episode

The series started back in 1997 when the character Buffy Summers moved to Sunnydale, with her mum.

Over the years she's died (twice), saved the world (often) and staked more vampires than anyone could count.

But exactly how the series will end is going to be a big surprise.

There are rumours of some old characters coming back, and perhaps even a shock death or two but until it's all over, no one knows for sure.

So US Buffy fans, was the last ever epsiode of the show any good?

We want you to tell us about it, but PLEASE, don't spoil it for UK viewers by revealing any shocks or surprises.

Here's what some of you said:

"WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! Newsround, and Buffy fans especially, your eyes will pop out of their sockets... I really don't want to spoil it for you British folk, but I will tell you something, the very last moment of the series is really gonna make your heart stop! So don't say I didn't warn ya!!! Bye"

"I thought it was very dramatic and sad."
Sophie, 15, Washington,USA

"It was wicked! I don't normally watch it, but since I was here, I thought, Why not? Even if you're not a big buffy fan (like me) I recommend it! And there is a surprising death, but I won't ruin it for you! I felt sort of sad, coz from some of the episodes that I have watched the person who was my fave charater dies!
