A newspaper reported on Saturday that the heart-throb actor wanted to stop after filming the Prisoner of Azkaban.
The Daily Mail said Dan wants to concentrate on his GCSEs and is worried his education will suffer because of his huge commitment to Potter.
'No truth whatsoever'
But an insider at Warner Brothers told Newsround there was "no truth whatsoever" in these rumours.
Everyone close to Dan is pretty convinced that he will stay on to do the fourth movie, the Goblet of Fire, the insider said.
Movie gossip
In the next few days, work will start on filming the exciting climax of the movie, which takes place in the Shrieking Shack, the insider added.
The third movie is expected to be released in summer 2004.
