		More Merry and Pippin in Two Towers DVD

The director of the Lords of the Rings films has revealed there'll be loads more of the two hobbits and Treebeard in the Two Towers DVD.

Peter Jackson says that there are an extra 43 minutes of stuff that wasn't on the film in the cinemas, and that most of it is really funny.

The extended version of the Fellowship of the Ring had an extra 32 minutes.

The story of Treebeard and the hobbits Merry and Pippin was the bit that was cut the most when they edited all the filming they'd done to make the movie the right length for the cinema.

But Jackson told the Lord of the Rings Fan Club Official Movie Magazine that he is putting lots of it back into the DVD.

'Surprises' in Fangorn Forest

The hobbits get lost in Fangorn Forest after escaping from the evil Orcs.

There they meet Treebeard who helps them to destroy Isengard, where Saruman has been making his army of Uruk-Hai.

Peter Jackson says: "There are a lot more surprises in that extra Fangorn material - most of it is humorous."
