		D'oh! The Simpsons say no to Becks!

The Simpsons is famous for getting the biggest celebs in the world to play a part, but they've said no to one of the biggest stars in Britain.

The famous family are heading for the UK for their 300th episode, and during their trip bump into JK Rowling and LOTR star Sir Ian McKellan.

And for a while, they might have met David Beckham too!

Marge is bringing the family to the UK

But as one of the show's executive producers explained, the England captain just isn't famous enough in America.

Al Jean said: "We thought about it, we didn't ask. I've heard of him because my daughter plays soccer."

The 300th episode of The Simpsons will be shown on Sky One on 20 April.
