Stars come out for Comic Relief
Updated 14 March 2003, 08.23
Lenny Henry and JK Rowling
It's Red Nose Day - the day when doing really stupid things can raise loads of money for charity.

Celebs and non-celebs are hoping to beat the incredible 55 million raised in 2001.

All the cash goes to people who need it most in the UK and Africa.

So what's happening?

Well, after a nail-biting week it's the final of Celebrity Fame Academy. Ruby and Will go head to head to see who's the "best" singer!

Viewers will also find out whether Gareth Gates and Big Brother's Jade have passed their driving tests in Celebrity Driving School.

Spoof Potter

And there's the chance to win the car Gareth learnt in as well as a really old one signed by JK Rowling.

The show will also feature a spoof version of Harry Potter.

CBBC's Angellica Bell officially launched the 2003 Comic Relief appeal last Friday with Graham Norton.

Since Comic Relief began in 1985, 72.4m has been given to projects helping poor and disadvantaged people in the UK.

Another 141.7m has been given to projects in Africa.

It all kicks off at 7.00pm Friday 14 March.
