The film's title will stay the same, but top US women's player Mia Hamm is being used to help publicise the film, even getting a quick spot in a new-look trailer.
The trailer also uses the word soccer in a few places instead of football because of the possible confusion with American Football.
It's hoped that because women's football is so big in the US, audiences will lap up the female footie focussed film.
