Teenage girls think witchy-types like Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Buffy are more attractive and glamorous "girl power" role models than stars like Ms Dynamite.
That's according to Rachel Moseley, who's researched the effect shows like Buffy and Sabrina has had on the image of witches.
Witches are now seen as cool and not the warty, evil, hags they have been seen as for hundreds of years.
But it's not just the fact the ladies in the shows don't look like your average cauldron-stirring hags.

And it's not so much to do with witchcraft - the potions and spell making - itself.
Moseley thinks it's to do with the attraction of "girly magic" and the fantasy power that gives girls to help them deal with the problems of being a teenager.
And with very strong-headed characters like Hermione in the hit Harry Potter films, there is sure to be more magical girl power to come!
