Fame Academy: Chris says he'll be back
Updated 19 October 2002, 13.18
Chris Manning
Fresh from being kicked out of the Fame Academy, Chris has vowed to keep going in the music business.

He spoke just after the show had finished and also spilled the beans on a little kiss he shared with Marli in the Academy.

The pair snogged for 30 seconds during a game of truth or dare, but Chris said nothing more was likely to happen, adding: "It was just a game".

Even though he wouldn't be going back to with the other pupils there was some good news - he got to see his family again.

And the reaction from the live audience to his version of Brown-Eyed Girl gave him a big boost to his bid to become a star.

"You will see more of me"

He said: "I can't wait to see what happens next. I will absolutely continue in music, it would be foolish to give up now. You will see more of me."
