The Fame Academy teachers are so worried about her that they've sent her to a throat specialist who looks after artists like Coldplay when they're on tour.

'Team player'

Naomi said she was pleased to be seeing a doctor, but was also really nervous in case they told her she needed three or four weeks' rest.

If that happens, she'll almost certainly be expelled from Fame Academy as she won't be able to take part in lessons or live performances.

Dance teacher Kevin told Academy head Richard Park he hoped Naomi wouldn't leave.

"We definitely need her here. She is bonding well and is a good team player," he said.
